Preschool Winter Singing!

Instead of a Christmas performance, this year the preschool did a Winter Family Feast in January. All the kids came up on stage and sang a medley of songs. Isaac typically doesn't like to be in the spotlight, so he requested to sit with us. Rather than fight tears and frustration, we said yes. He was SO much happier sitting with us and watching his friends sing. Elise, on the other hand, was thrilled to be able to get up on stage and be in front of an audience! She didn't sing as much as we thought she would, though. We think she was mesmerized by all the people! But she did enjoy being up on stage and was all smiles most of the time.

After the performance, we all went to the Fellowship Hall for a nice dinner of spaghetti, salad, and desserts. The kids enjoyed eating with Gramps and Nana since they were able to join us.

We are so thankful for such a wonderful preschool for our kids. They have so much fun there, and the small preschool community of parents and teachers is a blessing for our family.
