Then, during the break from preschool, I pulled out some wooden toys for the kids to paint (thanks to Aunt Michelle for the toys and paint!). Isaac enjoyed painting his little dog, but Elise only wanted to paint herself. So, I decided we'd turn the paint session into hand- and footprint painting for ourselves and gifts. Here are our Rudolphs, using my hand and the kids' hands:
Since it was actually the first day of winter when we did these (December 21st), we made a sign to welcome winter to our home:

The kids love painting their hands and feet and then doing prints. They do lots of this at preschool, but it was special to be able to do it together around our table at home. We had such a good time!
