Breakfast with my sweeties...

Isn't this just super-sweet?! This is what I get to enjoy every morning once Steven has left for work. These cute kiddos. Once they get settled into eating their breakfast, I usually sing "This is the day [that the Lord has made]" and they join me. I started singing it months ago as a proclamation of the truth and a prayer that we would rejoice rather than complain about the day we've been given. (Mostly as a reminder to myself!!) The kids love it, and now Isaac can quote that verse from the Bible all by himself. Now we're working on John 3:16.

For breakfast, the kids like to eat yogurt with cereal, bagels and cream cheese, or cereal and milk. This was a cereal and milk morning, and they were full of joy as usual. They actually asked me to take their pictures and then show the pictures to them.



When I showed Elise the last picture above, she said, "Awww! He's eateen lunch!" That cracked me up! I think it was a combination of the "He" (rather than "She") part and the "lunch" (rather than "breakfast") part! Oh, and the "Awwww" too! Too funny!
